Expected Outcomes of Accredited Certification
Value and expected outcomes of accredited certification have recently been getting increasing attention from all ISO industry stakeholders. A special emphasis is, however, placed by the end users of accredited certification whose primary goal is to benefit from using services of a certified organization that would meet their requirements and, moreover, exceed their expectations. It is important that certified organizations understand expected outcomes for accredited certification and get the best value out of their third-party audits.
For more information regarding expected outcomes, please review a joint IAF-ISO Joint Communiqué. http://www.iaf.nu/articles/Documents_for_General_Information_/29

*Transition to the new ANAB accreditation symbol
Effective January 1st, 2015, the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board started using a new logo and introduced a new accreditation symbol. To minimize the burden from moving from the previous accreditation symbol to the new one on both Certification Bodies and their certified customers, ANAB has established a three-year transition period to convert documentation to include the new symbol. The new ANAB accreditation symbol shall be issued on all new PJR certificates (upon completion of initial and recertification audits) after April 1, 2015. The use of the new ANAB accreditation symbol will be examined by PJR auditors in accordance with the rules described in the most current revision of PRO-3.
Certified clients using the ANAB accreditation symbol should be aware that the new ANAB accreditation symbol shall replace the previous symbol on all documents and media no later than December 31, 2017. Existing documentation and marketing materials, including business cards, bearing the old symbol shall not be used after December 31, 2017.
