AS9120

AS9120 is a sector-specific quality management system standard for the aerospace industry. It was designed for aerospace suppliers known as “stockist distributors” or “pass-through distributors” to aerospace OEMs. These are companies that resell, warehouse, and distribute parts for aircraft manufacturers rather than adding value or working on the products themselves. AS9120 is one of the quality system standards the FAA recognises under Advisory Circular 00-56, Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program. The current revision, AS9120B, was published in 2016 and is built on ISO 9001:2015.

Accredited certification

PJR is accredited by ANAB to certify companies to AS9120 and is authorised to perform accredited AS9120 certification audits. That accreditation comes from ANAB, so your certificate is recognised internationally through the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement. Certificates are also recorded in the IAQG OASIS database, where OEMs and prime contractors search for approved distributors.
